Sozopol Fest

Sozopol Fest is the newest and hottest Bulgarian music festival! A novel way to meet July Morning.

In Bulgaria there is a tradition called July Morning. People from across the country travel to the Black Sea coast to meet the first sun rays on the 1st of July.

Sozopol Fest started as a friendly initiative among the regular visitors of the quiet sea resort Sozopol providing an alternative for those who prefer to meet July Morning in the company of house, soul, funk and lounge music.

From the first year of its existence Sozopol Fest established its own unique style. A Black Sea resort festival that takes place at the beginning of the summer where the Bulgarian biggest music stars and numerous elite foreign guest musicians can be heard. A 48-hour musical arena in an inspiring atmosphere on the beach, right next to the sea. Apart from the music experience Sozopol Fest offers different extreme sport attractions on the beach as well.

Headliners at Sozopol Fest 2011 were Incognito, Jazzanova, Kraak & Smaak, The Sweet Vandals, Nik Weston, Onur Engin.

Headliners at Sozopol Fest 2012 are Black Coffee, Bucie, Tortured Soul, DJ Spinna, Osaka Monaurail, DJ Aaron Dae, Raphael Coz. All of them together with the Bulgarian musicians Beloslava, Tri O Five, Durty Purchase, DJ ilko, DJ Marten, DJ ihou, Emil Prize, Sirius & Methodikal, George Quest, Ramsey Hercules.
